Symbiosis: The Art of Living Together
Symbiosis is a term describing any relationship or interaction between two dissimilar organisms. The specific kind of symbiosis depends on whether either or both organisms benefit from the relationship.
Clown Fish & Anemone: “The symbiotic relationship between an anemone (Heteractis magnifica) and a clownfish (Amphiron ocellaris) is a classic example of two organisms benefiting the other; the anemone provides the clownfish with protection and shelter, while the clownfish provides the anemone nutrients” - National Geographic

Sun & Moon 12.6.2021
As the sun lowers, the sky is illuminated with an ever-flowing specturm of light.
As the spectrum of colors fades into the night, I surrender my sorrows, despite fright.
Looking up at the sky seeing the light of the moon as it approaches its peak, offers many lessons for reflection. Illuminating the darkness, the moon continues the cycles of lunation.
What may our natural rhythms reveal?

Moon
What Are Lunations?
Lunation refers to either a new Moon or a full Moon, which happen about two weeks apart within each lunar cycle. The Moon’s energy is especially potent and powerful during these points in the monthly cycle, as they represent the Moon in its most extreme states of visibility: in full view (full Moon) or completely invisible (new Moon).
A new Moon typically occurs when the Moon is in a conjunction with the Sun (which means both luminaries are near the same spot in the zodiac). Visually, this is when the Moon has gone black and looks to have disappeared from the sky (which is why it’s also called a dark Moon). This marks the beginning of a brand-new lunar cycle — the Moon is beginning a new journey.
From there, the Moon waxes (or grows larger) for about two weeks until it becomes a full Moon. A full Moon typically takes place when the Moon is in opposition to the Sun (meaning that it is in the opposite sign). This is when the Moon’s face is fully lit and within fully visibility from the Earth. After the Moon reaches its peak fullness, it begins waning, growing smaller.
Personal Goals and the Lunar Cycle:
If your personal goal involves beginning something new or expanding something in your life, the new Moon is the moment where you begin. Your intention is born here, just as the new lunar cycle is born. This is the very first step and the laying out of the initial foundation. Now’s the time to clear the slate and create space for your new undertaking. Make room for your intention to breathe as you release it into The Universe.
This lunation marks the beginning of a new cycle, and the energy is full of growth potential. That said, its energy is highly fertile, and this is the time to plant energetic seeds. If you want to add something to your life, build upon something, grow something, or begin something, now is the point in the lunar cycle that you should state your intention and put it out into The Universe.

Tulsi (Holy Basil)
Element: Ether
“Tulsi is an adaptogenic herb. This means Tulsi balances the adrenals to create a better stress response. Long-term work with Tulsi may create an easier response to stress and anxiety as well as an overall better mood. Tulsi is sometimes used to help those suffering from chronic anxiety, panic attacks, and depression. Tulsi comes from India and is a very common herb in Ayurveda. Tulsi is customarily planted outside of Ashrams in India. It is said the different varieties of Tulsi relate it to different Hindu Gods and Deities. By working with this plant you are working with Holy energy. Tulsi is said to be protective and clearing. It is often used to cleanse the chakras. Tulsi is often referred to as the Queen of the Herbs as it can be helpful for many things, mostly because it aids in the balance hormones and endocrine system, fights inflammation, and can be helpful for diabetes, high blood pressure, and is overall high in vitamins and minerals.” - Via Potions By Liri, Intuitive Herbalism Course
“Fumigating (smudging) Tulsi emits anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal smoke that purifies the environment and leaves a subtle and divine atmospheric energy.” - via The Queen of Herbs
